Yep I use them for running, they are brilliant. My gran has tried stealing them off me because they are so comfy haha!!

thanks for all your replies and i think il have a look at the asics for my next pair

steph sorry i should of clarified i meant training as in training to go back outdoors while running as i used to do it alot when younger but due to an illness stopped for quite a long time and have to build myself back up so no other machines just the treadmill the treadmill provides cushioning while i build up (instead of concrete)

It measures your times and things, and also speaks encouraging words while running apparently.

I thnk it may measure your parameters etc when running, or possible do distance as well, I actually have no idea what it does, I am off to have a look now as it is annoying me now

Why don't you get a proper fitting done? I swear by Asics for running personally, but they need to be fitted professionally for the right fit.

also keep up with the Runner's world webpage they have some good tips for picking shoes and working out what shoes are best for what. Also just to check, when you say you are 'training' are you only doing treadmill or are you also doing other things? Sometimes the other things are what give you the blisters! you may want some cross training shoes instead of running shoes.

Trying to remember the make mine are...

They were recommended to my sister by a shop and we've both found them good. Very light weight too.
