In particular I am struggling to find what the collimation points would be for a cranio-caudal view of the shoulder. Thank you for your help though, and thank you for checking the other books. I will certainly have a look at the link for the radiography book you recommended anyway for my own development. Thank you very much for your help

Re: Radiography positions

I have several books and none of them describe the craniocaudal view of the shoulder. It's not really an appropriate view for the joint. Yes this is why I am unsure as we dont tend to do it in practice but it in theNPL it specifies it must be that position which I thought was quite odd.

Re: Radiography positions

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Lavins-Radiography-Veterinary-Technicians-5e/dp/1455722804/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1402343057&sr=8-2&keywords=Radiography+in+veterinary+technology

Think back to basics of radiography the area you are interested in should be as close to Image Receptor as possible and this is why the caudocranial view is normally performed. This reduces magnification and image distortion.

Re: Radiography positions

The best for me was orpet & welsh handbook of veterinary nursing - Set out in note form with diagrams.
