Think I'd hypothetically be interested in situations available abroad, as obviously word of mouth doesn't usually stretch as far as Spain Sounds like a great opportunity for a relaxed holiday to me!!

But realistically for me at the moment I couldn't as I'd have to organise a petsitter for my own Pets! Agree if they were local jobs then you'd be silly to go through a third party (and I might be dubious about anyone who needed to!)

Totally agree Sal, I do my own cat sitting and by doing a good job, work comes your way as people tell their friends. I certainly cant afford to give anyone a cut as my prices are very reasonable.

I have a couple of friends I do this for - I suppose the biggest problem I would have is that if I joined up with something like this would be that I am paying somebody else to find me placements when I can find my own at no cost.

I dont want to be mean but I work really hard for what I earn - what incentive is there for me pay somebody else to find me placements that I am capable of finding for myself at no cost? I suppose this could work for people prepared to work further afield or have difficulty finding their own placemens but its not for me unless its last resort. There just seems to be too many set ups wanting a cut for this that or the other and making a good living from a group of workers who lets face it are never going to be millionaires. Maybe I am just being greedy but if I have earnt my bread I dont want to end up with the crust and little else.

Too busy doing the normal job? Or a useful way to bring in some extra cash?
