Hey it's worth asking your practice to buy the DVDs as a training tool for future students too. Mine were happy to do this and paid for all three. Also when I sat my OSCEs first time round we were only given melonin. I think it's more to do with applying it correct side down and not touching the part that will cover the wound.

hey,

Go onto ebay and put in 'clinical training veterinary nursing' in search and the dvds come up. Not sure if you can get individual one's but worth emailing the people selling them and asking for first and third as they are expensive! worth it though. Good Luck

Okay doke. I have the DVDs for the OSCE's and they only showed the melolin but I just though maybe there would be a range to choose from of dressings and one has to be picked. Anyhoo, Thanks to everyone for your help.

Think it will depend on what is given to you, it will probably be a primapore or the equivilant because if you look at the scope on the back of the printable tasks telling what you need to do it doesnt mention anything about bandaging a dressing in place, so I have assumed this means an adhesive dressing.

That's what I used, just remember to use the correct side onto the wound. Come to think of it, it could have been the only dressing they gave me.
