Phone some of the manufacturers up, saying your practice is interested in buying a suction machine & would they let you have it on a 2-4 week trial. Play around with it & there you have your K&U! Vet Direct are very good at letting you have trials.

you could always ask for infomation from the compoanies that make them. i just to find them very helpfull if u explin why you want it. you could see if u can put that in your copy folder as back up evidance that what u saying is correct.

plug it into the mains, open sterile bag with suction tube in as if you would hand instruments to a scrubbed vet, they will hand you the end to plug into suction and press the on button, thats how ours works, think thats pretty much the jist!

Thats what i thought!! i can't find information on this subject in any of my books or on a google search, i feel a bit stumped- does anyone have a basic outline that could help??

As this is knowledge and understanding you don't have to do it. I would suggest that you do some research, and produce a short piece on the types of suction available, and hoe they work.
