I'm looking onto the possibility of doing a certificate in ECC and I know the Vets Now Cert VN ECC is quite well established. However, Improve International have just launched a NCert(E&CC) but don't know whether this is just the same thing worded

Re: Which ECC Certificate?

Highly recommended the ECC course run by vets now

Re: Which ECC Certificate?

Hi

Yes there is a link between Harper Adams and Improve - when I designed the course one of the things I wanted it to do would be to start nurses on the post qualification path - if you contact Improve International directly they would be able to give you all the information.

I understand there is some link between the improve course and Harper Adams - is that right? Would you be able to use the improve ECC certificate towards the DipAVN at Harper Adams? How many credits would it be?

I can't quite decide between applying straight for DipAVN or doing the emergency and critical care certificate.......

Re: Which ECC Certificate?

Hi Louise,

Thanks for that information, I didn't realise that about the improve courses! Really interesting 😊

Will have a think about my options

The NCert(E&CC) is allows you to gain university awarded academic credits which you can use towards other university qualifications, e.g. certificates, diplomas etc. It is also a taught course rather than distance learning so all the modules are classroom based.
