Its a fun program and i think it managed to convey the importance of the bond between humans and our animal companions. It was entertaining to be filmed , you certainly get an insight into the filming and editing process and the film crew were awesome, they really became part of the Fitz family :) Its just a pity that there was only four episodes, when so much was filmed of our lovely patients and our great team.

I loved this show, have watched all of the episodes so far. Makes me want to fulfill my dream of becoming a registered veterinary nurse even more!

Just need to find a placement to achieve the goal.

We do rabbit anaesthetics all the time, and we have no more anaesthetic deaths than any other animal?

I don't find them any more challenging but I guess it depends on the vet and protocol you use.

I was surprised he did not intubate.....

But I still think he is an amazing vet.

Am I the only nurse to query why the rabbit undergoing orthopaedic surgery did not have an ET tube or a V-Gel?

Especially after they couldn't stop mentioning how risky rabbit anaesthesia is.....

I thought the program was great too, although I didn't necessarily need to see Noel's hairy chest! I work at a referral practice but I know most of my family and friends think I cuddle animals all day and have absolutely no idea what our job involves, the program has prompted a fair few comments from them and definitely given them a better insight and a bit more respect what we do.

I agree, how lovely it was for the nurse Hannah to allow her genuine emotions to be filmed.

I was also wondering how many members of the public suddenly went weak at the knees as he casually placed the dogs leg on the instrument trolley!

I watched last night and agree was the best vet tv programme I've seen. Even my husband was engrossed in it!!!! Brilliant.

Thought it was an amazing program, one of the best veterinary shows I've seen recently! Can't wait for next week now!
