I'm allergic to Rabbits, but not cats anymore, I was years ago, but the doc told me to get a cat and now I have 4, and no more sneezing and stuffed nose from having them

I was also allergic to dogs, and still am to certain breeds, SBT and Boxers, but it's mainly their coats, I come out in a rash, I dont sneeze or anything with them.

Rabbits, well it starts with the bunged up nose and the roof of my mouth itches like crazy, then the eyes water and the sneezing starts.

[/quote]

I have the same reaction to SBT's and boxers and similar coat type dogs, with longer haired dogs (springers, labs etc) I get a bunged up nose, itchy, swollen eyes, asthma gets really bad and sneezing....I now work in a cat clinic

Rabbits dont bother me so much, just their hair irritates my eyes a bit (I wear contacts so think the fine hair just gets caught in them?)

Re: Allergies

I'm allergic to Rabbits, but not cats anymore, I was years ago, but the doc told me to get a cat and now I have 4, and no more sneezing and stuffed nose from having them
