Trainee jobs are a few and far between and are like gold dust... You can just leave one and walk straight into another, you could be waiting years for another oppurtunity to come along.
@Button:
Starting a new job is always hard especially a new career. Everything is new and you have to learn so much AND learn how to deal with vets who I'm sure we will all agree can be difficult at the best of times and very rarely find their nurses good enough or respect them as a profession.
You may have to stick your job out a bit longer and hopefully find someone that you can learn from and build on your confidence andhopefully things will improve. I'm afraid you need a pretty tough skin in this profession.
However, if you are working for 11 hours with no break this really needs to be dealt with. Maybe you could speakw with the other nurses and all go to be bosses together and explain that this is not on.
Good luck and keep focused on your end goal

Re: Not sure I can do it

.

Re: Not sure I can do it

[quote user="dinkyd"]

Button these working conditions are unacceptable-it is illegal if anything.No one can work that long without a break - tho it does happen.I know you will feel you dont want to cause further tension between you and your employer but you must make it clear you are not working to your best standards without a break/food!
