&lt;p&gt;Going to bump this back to the top. Got a client with a 10month old shih tzu x mini poodle who is eating her poo. The client has already used pineapple and this hasn&amp;#39;t worked. The pup runs away to go to the loo and then eats it. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Any advice for her?&lt;/p&gt;

(sheep &amp;amp; horse poo - yes). &amp;nbsp;If clients ask about why their dog does it, on questioning them, I often find they are feeding too much, or feeding certain commercial foods that come out pretty much the same as it went in (smell/consistancy &amp;amp; maybe flavour?). &lt;p&gt;Due to the fact it has diarrhoea I would get it checked out by a vet (how long has it had it, has it been investigated before?) Is the dog underweight at all?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Normally I would recommend a chunck of pineapple a day in its food, not sure why this helps prevent coprophagia but it does in 99% of cases I have had dealings with. Anyway it&amp;#39;s almost impossible to train him out of it now.
