Sat my osces for the first time today and went to bits after the blood smear task! I am very competent at producing blood smears in practice with fresh blood but the blood I was given today was obviously not fresh and did not behave as it should

Re: osce ld04 blood smear

Is it even real blood they give you? I wonder if you should use the complaint system they have, the one where u have so many days to raise any concerns. It's a year now since I did mine but I'm sure you have the right to do this.
