Wondering if you could help with a quick question?
I was wondering what products other practices use for preventative dental homecare and what experience they have had (good and bad!)
I've had a look at the dentagen products, heard

Re: Dental Month!

I love the kong idea! That's brill!

Re: Dental Month!

If i have clients who aren't keen on brushing their dogs teeth i advise kong dentistix with logic in the ridges as they can chew and the toothpaste can work at the same time. I used this method on my own dog as he's a little terror and his teeth are lovely, he's 8 and has never needed dental work and he's a terrier so really happy with it!

Otherwise the petdent is amazing as well to just rub on to the teeth.

I tend not to recommend dental chews as such as most animals take 2 bites and swallow it whole without it even touching the sides..

Re: Dental Month!

I personally like petdent paste and gel - has chlorhex in it and good results with my own dog. We dont stock aquadent as has xylitol in it. Think you are always best to use products listed on veterinary dental health council list of approved products
