I think most practices these days keep records for ketamine and keep it locked away. However I did once work in a mixed practice where we used to have it in 50ml bottles and just kept it on the shelf.......

It may not alter anything.

The legal classification is separate to our classification for use in practice.

However it may mean practices wish to tighten any current SOPs. The Class B categorisation increases the length of time in prison for misuse - could poor use and disposal lead to a conviction for trafficking?

If it is the same article that I read I think it is just a plan to be discussed and then enforced, there was no date. I am sure/ hope we will get some notification. It will change the ordering and disposal but the recording should be the same...depending on how you record and account for it at the moment!
