Thanks

We have been using Andis Clippers for the last 6 years and love them! They aren't small though, just the usual size!

http://www.angliaclipperservices.com - I order blades through these chaps (Oster not Andis) - their customer service / prices are great :)

They come in corded or cordless. Available from jak , or from grooming websites.

I have used the small ekymeyer isis ones too, they're quiet.

We have these aesculap exacta clippers. Quiet and cordless so great for cats and for pts home visits. We did think they had broken not long after we got them as they stopped working even when charged but they were just clogged with hair. Blade was easily unscrewed with a small Allen key and cleaned with toothbrush and then they work fine. No problems since and would definitely recommend for lasting quality clippers.

Re: Recommendations for cat friendly clippers

we are currently using these

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Oster-600i-Cord-Cordless-clipper/dp/B00A3SJZDC

fairly quiet and well tolerated but would add the caution that they arent that robust if you get an animal (two legged or otherwise) who likes to knock them off the table - they don't bounce well!

the advantage is if you already have a load of oster blades that fit your other clippers.

Re: Recommendations for cat friendly clippers

We use ISIS clippers from Eickemeyer. They are quiet and narrow and super for cats. The only pain is you can't get the blades sharpened they have to be replaced and the only place you can get them at the moment is Eickemeyer, but as long as the vets don't use them for those awkward spots of AMD the blades last quite a while!!!

Re: Recommendations for cat friendly clippers

We used J.A.K marketing cordless clippers, they are nice and quiet.
