I live on the borders on london, so it was a hour tube journey there and back every day, you start at 8.30am - 4.30pm so it was a very tiring two weeks with all the travelling. As far as i know they have no on site accommodation, but might be worth asking if they know anywhere low cost?

I did two weeks last summer at London Zoo, was an amazing experience, there is times when its quiet and you have to do odd jobs/cleaning but it is worth it for the other experiences. The Nurses and Vets in the department are fantastic, especially Matt who is really helpful /knowledgeable on exotics/ wild animals.

Hi yes Whipsnade was great :-D I sorted own accommodation and travel, but they may be able to provide a local accommodation list. Sure there will be a lot more choice around london though!!

I did this a few years ago but at Whipsnade. I was still training at the time but it was an excellent experience, and a great insight to zoo veterinary work :-)
