I feel for you, been there done that after a tplo equivilent! 4 months off work!!. Ended up taking the dogs for a walk attached to the wheel chair!!.

hope you find lots to do but make sure you rest!

I can sympathise. Been off with the same and had knee surgery after this and was off feet for 2 month. Couldnt drive so I went stir crazy. Put on weight too as food helped with boredom. Knightmare!!!!!!

LOL, (It would be ROFL but I'd never get up !)
Unfortunately (or fortunately) I am a specialist nurse in a referral practice and we have plenty of staff to cover front desk (the other thing is I'm not allowed to drive either hehehe)
I do intend to make a start on some info bits and pieces that I haven't had chance to do yet whilst in work but that might go by the wayside lol

buy your cross stitch kis from ebay - cheaper and they post them so you don't have to go out. I recently bought a black GSD kit and the picture is so like my own Kidu that it could have been taken from a photo of her.
Catch up on old videos or saved sky box recordings.
Read or re-read those bookx you keep meaning to look at.
Plant some seeds and watch them grow.
Chat online, update twitter, or facebook.
Write letters to people you haven't been in touch with for ages, or who you normally only contact at Christmas, and always say you must keep in touch more.
Play games on a nintendo, online, or even good old board games if you have someone free to come round for an hour or two.
Offer to house sit for a friend/neighbour that you can hobble to, so they can go out (their pet or family member may need constant care and they rarely go out).
Start the spring cleaning - wash ornaments etc where you don't need to stand much.

I am a good reader...read 2 books in the past 2 days!!! I suppose I am fairly near my local library

Think I'm pretty much up to date on the BVNA stuff...could do the certs for the next meeting I suppose and think about next years programme...try and twist a few arms for that!!!!!

I've not got up before 10 since I had it done on Thursday hehehe

Might catch up on the dvd's I've bought and not got round to watching.

I'm gonna have to get lots of fruit brought round otherwise I shall never shift the weight I need to!

Could think about outfits for BVNA congress I suppose as well...ooooo now thats a good idea (wont buy anything yet cos hope I will have lost masses of weight by then!!)

Do you enjoy reading? Are you anywhere near your local library?

Maybe you have a dvd you havent watched in a long time.

Cross stitch is definitely a great time passer. Do you have any BVNA stuff to catch up on?

Or how about using a few days to just take it easy, nice lie-in's, watch tv, snooze on the sofa! hehe
