Hi,

We have this one too. When looking at the monitor it shows that it can be used as an oral monitor in humans. Anybody any ideas on how to change the setting? Can't find it in the instruction book. That's it you can change it!

We thought we may be able to use it as an oesophageal monitor rather than rectal ( not easy to do when animals on the table!)

We use the Welch Allyn SureTemp plus from Eickmeyer. It's really good, wouldn't recommend using for really long periods of time but you can use it for one off measurements or can be used for 5-10 mins at a time. Comes with probe covers too.
