I told my immediate line manager when I was 7 weeks but only because I needed to avoid fluoroscopy. I didn't tell my head nurse or anyone else until I was 14 weeks. After a previous job where I told my head nurse at 5 weeks and within 3 days the entire practice knew, which I then miscarried I decided I wouldn't tell anyone this time unless I absolutely had to. Congratulations x

You should tell your manager immediately - but they have to keep the information confidential, whilst still ensuring yours and your baby's safety. How easy that is to achieve depends on your individual rota and working conditions.
