I had a boss like that once, she was a nightmare, I dont know one single person that likes her! I just never took ant shit from her, I gave as good as I got and eventually we worked fine together, but she went through staff like hot dinners, they were all petrified of her, but her bark was worse than her bite. Stand up to them, they are not any better than you, dont let anyone make you feel like that

It's a really small practice with no practice manager

Just going to have to try and be brave and try to speak to them about it.

Is there anyone in the surgery you can talk to? Practice manager?

I know it doesnt make you feel better but at least you know its not personal if the person is like that with everyone! Doesnt make for a happy place if someone is continually nippy with everyone.

The said person is being like that with everyone unfortunately. Not just me.

It's not the nicest place to work at the moment. We are all on tenderhooks wondering what they are going to be like every time we see them.

I also feel sorry for the new girl that has just started, as they are being off with her too. Not very nice.

Katy, I am very sad to hear that. I dont like confrontations but there comes a time when it has to be done.

The only thing I will say to you is have a word with the said person, tell them how it is making you feel and that you cant work like this. If they have any manners at all, they should listen to you and try to make things at work easier.

Is there any reason in particular that you dont get on?

sorry to hear that. If they are in authority over you suggest that you tell them how you feel and give them a chance to change. Work should be fun
