Have given details to all local rescues but issue is both of our children are under 5 so most rescues are reluctant. If anyone hears if one looking for a home give me a shout.

Re: Dachshund breeder

Hiya, also try kennel club breed specific rescues and general rescues, it is amazing how many small pedigree dogs we see now coming through charity doors! The mayhew animal home, dogs trust, The bluecross, PDSA and local vets I am sure too! :) good luck I hope that you can get a rescue instead! :)

Re: Dachshund breeder

http://kanixpointers.co.uk/?page_id=14

Kanix used to breed MWHD. They bred some very lovely litters and they health tested all their dogs with no expense spared. I am not sure if they only breed pointers now but If you give Sigurd a call he should be able to direct you. A friend of mine took on an older female MWHD from them and she was just so sweet
