I read somewhere once that clipper blades should be replaced every 24 months... even after being re-conditioned and sharpened. Good investment to have new clipper blades as less trauma to the animal when clpping.

We use Burtons (Of Maidstone, Kent) + have also used Diamond Edge. I've found over the years even when blades have been sharpened they don't stay sharp for very long. Often wonder if it's worth just buying a new set anyway!

We send ours via Dunlops too. As you say, fairly slow turnaround.

ooooo if anyone one finds it please let me know!, I will try to fond my VNJ.

We use to use DUnlops but had a slow turnaround and expensive!

We send ours off through Dunlops, turn around usually about 3-4 days. There was an advert in the VNJ about clipper sharpening with a 24hr turnaround, not sure who it was though.

Diamond Edge. Recommended by one of our dog groomers. She is very picky and they are very good!
