this time I am looking for recommendations for a practice washer if anybody has any? industrial or domestic that hangs together for more than 2 years. Or if anybody has any warnings for machines to avoid

We do a choice of 2 infusion pumps and a variety of other equipment items which are available free on signing up to purchase Animalcare products, you do get the equipment up front and then buy the product over an agreed period of time.

Have used the baxter ones at a previous practice and I do like these but I think we are looking for something with a guarantee/ warranty but thanks for the suggestion

Hi Sal,

Why dont you try medical auctions - we use them a lot and get great pumps like the baxter collegues - they need a special giving set (as they all do )but we have 15 of them and theyre all from auction and work great theryer about 4k new and we thend to poick them up for about £200-250

If you do get baxter collgues i have a couple of spare manauls if you need one

I'm looking for a basic ECG machine, preferably free or very cheap, ex hospital would be ideal. Don't care if it's bulky/no digital display etc. Anyone got any contacts?

Animal care still run the deal, you need to buy consumables from them (we have a rolling order every month that gets delivered) However if you call JAK they are now selling reconditioned infusion pumps at discounted prices. There is a waiting list, (I am still waiting after a few months) but that could be an avenue too!

We bought 4 pumps (Niki IV) from infusion concepts a few months ago. We've been really happy with them. Not very cheap but not extortionate either. Giving sets available through wholesalers as well as from them.

this is going back 3 -4 years ago but have you contacted Animalcare. We are now a cooperate company so I m a little out of the loop on deals etc but when I was head VN under our previous boss I knew every deal to be had.

Basically we had to sign upto using certain products , fluids/ vetergesic and benazecare I think (which we used anyway) but then we receieved a Niki pump free of charge.

It may be worth checking it out they did other pieces of equipment as well. (we also got our BP machine that way)
