Hi i am still in need of a placement. I am willing to relocate. I am dedicated and enthusiastic about Veterinary nursing , i have veterinary experience and i am already qualified as a Veterinary care assistant . If anybody can help me or knows of any unpaid block placement opportunities, i would be most grateful.

I know sometimes this cannot be helped but this really shouldnt be happening - training establishments should not be offering places on courses unless they have the training places in practice to accomodate them. How many more times is this going to happen - it just isnt fair on the student.

I have sent letters, emails rang around veterinary practices all over the U.K. I am doing a block degree and suppose to be starting an unpaid placement January however I still can't obtain one , without a placement I get deferred a year back :(, can anyone help me?

Have you tried ringing around or sending your cv in to all the practices? that shows initiative and a good work mind set.
