Hi look in the range, £9.99 I think it was, in craft area where photo albums etc. mine was for a baby, plaster comes in blue, pink or white. I got a fantastic print first time, has a photo next to it. Sarah

if you buy some air drying clay or baking clay form hobby craft, shape it into a nice shape, oval or square or circle and get your animal to stand on it. you can then imprint or cut in dates etc. dry paint then varnish and vola!

We do ink paw prints onto card. Helpful when a few family members want a memento each

plaster of paris is dirt cheap - and if you have a tame contact in the dental world the alginate impression powder probably wouldnt be that expensive, failing that you could always use fimo clay. Not easy to do tho on pets with hairy feet (I know I have tried it)

We had a client request us do one of these for her cat after it had been euthanised. Very difficult to do on a frozen cat =/ but i imagine theyre quite difficult in general. Was really hard to get a nice paw print.

Some people do it as a side job. We had a woman leave her card in our practice and she was charging £40 for them? Seemed expensive to me.

A quick check on Amazon has some casting kits coming in at £8-£15 and then a jump up to £30.

I have been looking but they all seem quite expensive - hence not knowing if people had a mass supply of plaster of paris and did them themselves?

I'm pretty sure you can buy those kits off the likes of Amazon and Ebay.
