We've just signed up to something similar where we get a month's worth free if we agree to buy from Abbott all year. Don't forget... the worse that can happen if you do decide to move suppliers is that you have to pay for your 'free' bottles afterall. Whether you do this will depend on what the competitors decide to charge. Not that bad really....

We were told back in the summer that the license was ending soon and then cheaper generic products would be available.

Which reps are these?! Are they Abbott reps or a competitor? We have been asked if we want to sign up to a buy 12 get one free deal with Abbott but I dont want to commit to this then find a new generic is released at half the price! Trying to wade through the EU licensing information is a nightmare and can't find anywhere that gives me a conclusive date of license expiry....... Anyone?

our rep said something like that too, that their licence runs out soon, so hopefully cheaper versions soon!

Abbott have the licence for it but I think that runs out either this year or next. We had the rep in a few weeks ago to help us set up the practice and he mentioned something but my memory is shot lol.

I believe it is, I have never come across any other company marketing it...I guess that's how they get away with the cost.
