I had a brill time we were in animal onesies!

I did see the umpalumpas haha!

We got to meet Matt Baker from the one show, countryfile, blue peter etc and had pic taken with him

only been to one but we re ALL so excited about this weekend. Its been a tough year for one reason or another so we are all looking forward to letting our hair down on sat evening. We ve even managed to get a fancy dress theme sorted !!!

I seem to remember the sunday CPD was a little basic (or just maybe everyone was so tired/hungover) but hay it racks up the CPD hours.

Just go with the flow and enjoy it. xx

ps we re all going early (well the ones who aren't working) so we can take advantage of the pool/ Jacuzzi and pre preparation drinks !!!

The Saturday night is good for putting faces to names and meeting people that you might speak to a lot on the phone but never see and of course its the awards night- but the CPD wasnt anything to write home about on the ones I attended and there is no choice of which talks you attend, even if the level is aimed lower than level you are working at already- the last one I attended (a few years ago now) the CPD wasnt that well attended with quite a few people hungover from the night before.

It will be my first time at one too, only started 6 weeks ago.

From what everyone has said it should be a good weekend if previous years are anything to go by.
