&lt;p&gt;Of course you do! &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;BSAVA only mentioned vet surgeons in its comments on the issue - er, somewhat forgetting its VN members....&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Vetsonline/Vet Times/ VN Times however, have asked our questions on behalf &amp;quot;veterinary professionals/the practice team&amp;quot; - given that the rabies concerns are relevant to anyone handling an animal in practice!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Please see my most recent story on the topic - http://www.vetsonline.com/actualites/detail/70826-revues-1/uk-mixed-messages-on-rabies.html&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There&amp;#39;s another one due to come out in Vet Times next week, and we&amp;#39;ll follow-up in VNT too....&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It looks like Public Health England (part of the Health Protection Agency) might look at offering vaccination to veterinary workers...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Interestingly though, the &amp;quot;at risk&amp;quot; list says it covers anyone regularly handling imported animals - I wonder how many practices out there might say they suspect they handle suspect imported animal on a regular basis, as it is.... Ahem.&lt;/p&gt;
