 Can any sane qualified nurse out there please clarify to settle a dispute the following:

Usually take samples every 1-2 hours depending on the vet.

More a surgery/anaesthesia/radiography guy. But I would say that you should take a blood sample pre food/insulin. Maybe settle the dog in first ie so it&amp;#39;s a true reading rather than stressed/excited reading. Then every 1-2 hrs depending on protocol.
