I've just my house insurance and my excess is £100 so off to opticians tomorrow

iI you cannot find them and have a copy of your eye exam which would of been given when you had them tested, you can purchase them online and just type in the prescription numbers and it works out so much cheaper. Thats what I did instead of them costing £200+ they only cost me £120 I think.

I'd retrace my steps but its 3hrs away will give the pub a call that we were at

Check with your house insurance too, some companies cover things like this, but be aware that your premium will go up the following year if you do claim, so weigh up the pro's and cons of claiming

Can't you try and retrace your steps that night in the hope of finding them? Or phone the place you were in that night?
