I told tech support what I should do Tuesday - made me giggle!

Only thing it is attached to is our VetTest, that seems fine. Its so frustrating. Hoping I can get a new one instead of all these refurbs.

We always pierce the purple tubes, haven't tried the grey tube trick but I might do that.

I seem to be sending dot plots constantly, it tends to be the platelets but last month it was the white blood cells. Have run that sensor adjusting disc a million times (always when asked!) and I have been told today I have to change the filter again, did that with the last one just before they told me they were going to replace it!

My bosses are pretty annoyed that each time we get a refurbed one... and then it breaks again. Noone at the call centres seems to be able to help me get a new, working one!

Typically this time it is 2 days before I am off for almost 2 weeks... and noone else plays with my machines

Flick and *** as the idexx man told us....and tapping the grey tube on a hard surface before putting it in the machine seems to have stopped our platelet problems...

The only problem we've had with ours is that it used to routinely read the platelets low...seems to be ok at the moment

We were one of the first practices to start using the Idexx Lasercyte. To date, we haven't had any problems with it! We periodically have trouble with the Catalyst DX, but they seem to be sorted really easily. What exactly is yours doing - or not doing?
