pish the beds, or pee the beds. The connection of dandelions to bedwetting is interesting, as dandelions can actually be used in herbal medicine as a diuretic. Also, the common French word for this flower is "pissenlit", literally, "wet-the-bed."( I believe there are quite a few regional words in Britain which echo this idea.) For once, I must say that the English word is preferable to the French-having said that, it is actually derived from French -"dents de lion" because the petals are perceived as ressembling the teeth of a lion, presumabl?

I am interested as well. Sorry motorhome in use most weekends With the tree no use putting a bed there the electric cable for the M/H is always slapping around that tree and it is also in tramp range of the doors.

Caro, you could get a nice wee flowerbed round the bottom of your cherry blossom, and you get feed and weed for the grass to get rid of the dandelions.

Plus I want your motorhome...!!!! I would love one of them

Will take any help l can get bloody things are a pest.

Mud patch (veg) behind my apple tree.

Apple tree on left side poking in and rest of the "garden" Motorhome snoozing on his patch. The white thing is drainage our neighbour gave us ages ago but we haven't got it in yet. Big tree is flowering ornamental cherry (no fruit)

Flopsy is lovely!! A little bit similar to my Tabitha - or Taffeta as the boys call her!!

She is on her own now so she is very spoiled! Phillip wouldnt go to bed without her lastnight so we had to make her a makeshift bed in a cardboard box on its side!! She wandered round the room most of the night and I could hear her under the bed!!

Caro - I know what you mean about dandelions - you need little Matthew to stay with you - he picks them for me EVERYDAY as he thinks they are flowers!!!!

Dandylions....... my rabbit would have a field day, she loves them

Here she is eating her curly kale, carrots, and the remains of the cardboard box I gave her to chew on.

Looks lovely and yes l like meerkats they are happy little souls.My garden is awful l now have a field and a mud patch the mud patch is the veg section.

Not into gnomes but otherwise there is some nice garden ornaments about. You are right about the bleeding heart looking very pretty. I have lots of yellow in my garden, trouble is they are dandylions!!!.

Yes Paula, that is my garden, well some of the garden, I was telling Caro today about my Bleeding heart shrub (top pic) and how it has been rubbish for years, but this year is looking really nice, so I took a pic.

Then I remembered Caro putting up a remember the Meerkat thread, so added in my wee meerkat who sits in my garden

They are so cool, I love him(he is a he) I bought him a few years back, and he has sat there ever since, I also have a pig lying on its back wallowing.. Must take a pic of that too at some point
