I'd recommend breaking the learning outcomes down and working to them - what are they asking you and make sure you cover it. Also, keep to your interim deadline. Feedback from your tutor is always amazing.
Loads of websites and books available aswell to reference - theres a few that talk from a practice manager's perspective which are quite good... i can't remember what they're called off the top of my head though! (Helpful, I know lol)

Good luck!

Re: Communication assignment

Hi

Depending on which awarding body your are using, this will depend on the actual assignment content. The RCVS have some examples on their website of the original VN2 assignment - link below

http://awardingbody.rcvs.org.uk/examinations/other-examinations-and-assessments/

These may be of help.

Good luck

Re: Communication assignment

Without knowing more about your brief it is hard to be specfic, but here are some basic ideas:

Start with saying what you mean by 'communication' and the different ways that you can communicate. (Not just talking, but also body language, intonation, volume etc)

Discuss how, why and where communication is used generally, Then discuss the veterinary environment.

Perhaps give specific examples of good and bad communication techniques/specific examples?

In conclusion maybe discuss why good communication is so important?

If you're really worried, just make a start, do as well as you can and then get someone supportive to proof-read and then go through how it may be able to be improved. That will be really useful.

Ideally you need more info and help that will be possible on here - is your clinical coach not able to help you?
