Can anyone think of any topics you would like to read about if you were a client
So far this is what I've got

Entertaining indoor cat
Worms
Poisonous plants

Re: Blog Ideas Please

You could always have a "brave pet" mention (with clients permission of course!) and talk about any cases which you think the public might find interesting or have the awwww factor.

The Daily Telegraph has one written by Pete Wedderburn MRCVS.

That way, you can let someone else do all the writing!

Thanks, I just thought it would get less boring if you done something like that, plus you could incorporate anything into the story, ie what happened that week, or what offers the practice has on...ie microchip offers vaccination offers etc, having the cat tell the story will keep the punters more interested I think, plus you have to name the cat as well, give him a bit of character. You might even get the punters asking after him if it takes off

Good idea bloggy cat could have dental done,go on holiday, get in a fight, get an abscess etc. Sounds alot of fun doing a blog.Never done one, wouldnt know where to start but I have to say bloggy cat sounds a good idea.

I think also it would be quite difficult to keep a blog like that going all the time as you would run out of ideas and would end up repeating yourself.

Thats what I thought, but I'm hoping that as we open we will have more to write about, cases, practice, staff, how we are developing etc. hopefully anyway x

Re: Blog Ideas Please

Thats actually a very good idea Sandra

Hi, will the blog stay up all the time?

You could have a virtual cat, telling a story each week about some of the things that have happened in the practice....ie stayed late for an emergency op, or slept on reception today and watched all the patients coming and going,....saw a really pretty BSH, and how he could get her number sort of thing. Make the cat tell the story ie of a poisoning case, or a cat with behaviour probs and how the vet helped etc.

[/quote]

Yup blog is up on the website all the time, planning on updating blog posts with minimum one per week

Brilliant idea!! Thank you!!
