Thanks Sarah, labradoodles seem to be a common breed for early neutering. Just not been able to contact anyone who will speak to me.

Do you know where she was neutered at all?

We've just seen a new patient today (labradoodle) for 2nd vaccinations at 10 weeks old and she's spayed already!

Hey guys you have already been fab but i am having some problems getting to speak to the right people regarding this. I have sent a number of emails to the mayhew and RSPCA and they have never returned them. I know it's a big ask but does anyone have any direct contacts in these organisations i can contact as the long way round doesn't seem to be having any affect at the moment.

As always any help very gratefully received.

Hi, from clients who have been in to work I know that there are quite a few Australian labradoodle breeders who neuter pups at 6-10 weeks. If you search for these breeders you should be able to locate their vets who should be able to help.

Hiya, Not quite 6 weeks but The Mayhew Animal Home are absolute professionals at early neutering! email them and ask. Look on the website, they are amazing and will defo be able to help. Tell them I refered you.

P.s. not agreeing or disagreeing with the technique but if it is being done it would be useful to be able to look at samples from that early life stage as well as the 6 month life stage which most dogs are neutered at. :)

Yeah not sure you`ll find many places in the UK doing it but i`ve seen it on neutering projects abroad, when it may be the only time a vet is in the area.

maybe worth contacting some of the charities like RSPCA that may do their own neutering on younger dogs for rehoming?!
