Well, if it is a nice day where you are, getting into the garden should be nice. It rained here overnight though the sun is shining now

Have lots of things I could be doing today - just need to prise myself off this computer!!

Thanks Paula l could also use a sleep as my husband decided l needed waking at 7 to help him move the settee outside so it made space for the one he is bringing from his Mums house. Great he has had a lazy weekend with his mates at the parachute center while l have been working all hours and trying to catch up on my sleep and self.

I asked him why hell he woke me up... it sort of came out as ug huh uggs.. do not know what his reply, there was one but l was to sleepy to understand as l propelled myself to the bathroom and shut the door while the rest of my mind tried to catch up with my body.

More coffee now then sort patches of garden for my tomatoes l think.

Just a though mind you but may appeal to those who have the r especially and have to prove cpd. But then what do l know l am only a lost cause just a nobody

Hi vicky, if you need to revise you could use us on here for practice if you like, WE could fire some questions at you in a pm and you could answer them.

Also take a few days, dont rush back into it if you are not feeling up to it, when you are ready, give us a shout.

I have been helping my daughter the last week with Biology Revision, she has a big exam tomorrow, and I think she is going to do ok, she pretty much knows most of it, we are just concentrating on digestive enzymes(they dont seem to stick) but she will get there.

Oh I'm sorry to hear about your nan Vicky.

I won't be on this schedule for long. just until the end of the month once I finish my leave from the job in Minehead I will be full time in Taunton and doing 1n4 OOH and weekends and a normal 37hr week. Just a bit upside down this week.

The walk on the beach with Jack sounds nice!! I have yet to go to the beach here in somerset! been here for almost 2 yrs now. lol must make it to the beach this year!

maybe I will go on one weekend...when ever that is.

hey, never apologise for feeling a bit negative and down in the dumps. You have every reason to feel like that with the death of your nan.

Give yourself a bit of 'me' time for a few days. Study will come to you when you are ready for it. As well as that, you will surprise yourself with the amount of stuff you know already!! Chin up, eh?

I think i'm starting to panic about my level 2 exams in june, i've not even looked at my college work for the past 2 weeks with my nan being admitted to hospital 5 weeks ago then passing away with cancer last week. I feel bad that i've not done any work...and feeling like i'm going to fail my exams Sorry feeling very negative this eve.

I used to find that if I did absolutely nothing with my weekend, it went much quicker and I went back on a monday morning feeling I had wasted my days off.

Now, I try and do something positive and spend my days wisely - its a lot easier in this lovely weather. I find I return to work much more refreshed.

Though, at the moment, I am not working

I've only had the sunday off. had to work sat morning and then had to sort the sheep out on sat night, sunday morning and this evening. then i'm back to work all this week until sunday again. :( what's a weekend?

I agree doing 12 hour shifts for a longer weekend would be good, i do 9 or 10 hours as it is so 2 more wouldn't make much difference! That does sound like a perfect weekend! If only...
