Its actually remarkably good if you use a supportive agency especially if you arent far off qualification and are flexible . Recruit for vets were fabulous !!

thanks for reply - think going to bite the bullet and actually take up place on a nursing course - will have to leave current employment due to time restrictions/distance so here's to many years of poverty as a student (again!) - but hopefully will pay off in long run (emotionally obviously, not financially!)

It's not too easy if your not qualified but a lot will take on experience, best bet is too get in touch with a locum agency such as A1 and speak to them, they can let you know whats available and if anyone will take an unqualified locum (i have worked with a couple in the past so it can happen)
