It's terrible to hear news such as this, poor girl; and thoughts go to friends, family and colleagues. It is such a difficult time for them.

I'd like to share a link to Vetlife - I am sure you have heard of it, but for anyone who is suffering stress, or just wants someone to talk to, they really can help.

There has been much research and talk about difficulties with respect to emotional well-being and vets, but (as yet) this hasn't really been talked about in nurses, and as Mark says, it's a touch life sometimes for the VN too...

I never met her in person even tho she lived only a few miles up the road. I met her through this site and we had chatted a couple of times, she struck me as being a very caring and conscientious person. I was truly saddened when I heard.

Very tragic, I worked with her when she was training and she was a lovely caring person, always had a happy hello for anyone. A sad loss for her family, friends and the veterinary world
