We soak them in dilute hibitane solution to start with and then flush them thoroughly with running water and the scrubbing brush. We then use the Milton tablets (1tablet to 5litres water) for 15minutes before rinsing them again and checking they aren't blocked at all then dry and put away.

We were having a few animals coughing and since we have changed to this we haven't seen that at all now, although we were only cleaning in safe4 before and rinsing. We were worried that maybe there could be animals that are allergic to Milton as I know some people are (my brother being one) so we always make sure we rinse thoroughly.
Hope that helps

Re: E/T Tubes

We changed to Milton tablets a few weeks ago and no problems with it, I quite like them :)
