To cut a long story short I've decided to rehome him at my apartment which I share with my boyfriend.
I would suggest trying Petalcleanse too, they have a few products in their range that may help

I always make sure I wash my hands before touching my face as that always sets me off. I have used petal cleanse and found it worked really well when I was going through a bad patch. Mine seems to come and go a bit. Some cats at work set me off really badly but find washing my hands and face helps. I have steroid nose drops for when bad as I get nasal polyps forming when I am particularly bad which my consultant prescribed after allergy testing. He advised about having cat free bedroom etc as well and use throws you can wash regularly over your furniture as easier to defluff that way! Regular grooming definitely helpful too.

Re: Cat allergies...

As a VN with cat allergies i would get your oter half on some antihistasmines has helped me no end I also have 3 cats best thing i find is wash hands after handleing them and also dont let them on the bed. Go speak to your GP as i found i had asthma because of cat dander. its that time of year where they are shedding so a good groom may help aswell.

He now is absolutely fine and only gets a rash if he gets a scratch etc, but his breathing is fine now.

Re: Cat allergies...

Is your other half taking medication for the allergy? If not then that would be a good place to start.
Also when my now husband moved in with my 2 cats he had quite bad allergies to them. But after a while, month or so I believe the allergy got less and less and now he barely has a problem, he's still allergic to other cats, just not ours. So possibly this might happen with your other half too

Re: Cat allergies...

petalcleanse?
