I broke up with my ex boyfriend because he went to a football match on my 21st birthday....but that was the final straw in a long line of inconsiderate things he had done.

Anniversaries aren't that important to me (but hey im not married!!) but if they are to you then your hubby should know that. I know how obsessed men are with football though, so maybe suggest he makes it up to you big time some other time

I am with Caro on this one, I can never remember the exact date of my wedding day, it may be the 30th or 31th aug, I usually only know when we get a card from his Grandad.

Sometimes I ask my cousin, as his birthday is the same as my wedding day, and he always laughs at me for forgetting .

I will celebrate my 25th in style and all the other important ones, but the rest are just a number.Thankfully my Hubby is the same as me, we are both as not interested in things like this, so we are happy.

It is just an anniversary. I only knew it was ours the other day cause my Mum had remined me not to happy as usual that l did not even know the date. So l sent hub who was at the parachute center a text "Happy anniversary and all that s**t".
l felt as l got a hard time so should he. I got a phone call back (like me he dislikes texting and prefers phoning) he said ditto how was work last night much more important as that pays the bills. Like me, he feels it is just a number.

If you think of it like that it should de stress you. Never understood the reason people have to have all big celebrations. If it was so many years since someone past (died/popped their clogs/ disposed of their mortal coil/ keeled over) that is different because there is lost futures but hell with an anniversary you got the futures there ahead of you.
