start off small get a rat there lovely

i was finally allowed a gambian rat (rat the size of a cat) because i showed i could care for three rats (at the same time) properly before hand

Re: Running out of time...

Im not even celebrating my 21st.. i was thinking of lookin after my bday anyway jus wanted a yes b4 hand.. i already have rabbits outside which aint a problem.. oh well thanks anyway...

Re: Running out of time...

I have to agree with caro

I have wanted a dog for the past year or too but at the moment I know its not the right time to get one it would just be too stressful for all concerned.

One day when I have my own space and time to care for z pet then thats when it will be the right time to get one xxx

Re: Running out of time...

Agree with Caro. Especially on a 21st or big number with all the partys and upheaval the same as for Christmas time. Any pet should always be acquired well after the event so that the house has settled back down to normal.

Family and friends are usually on the persons side but at the end of the day it is easy for them and your fathers decision should be respected, his reasons will be valid to him even if they do not seem so to you.
Your mother may also say get one but it should be considered how stressful it is for their relationship with you carrying on about wanting a dog let alone the stress from all "the family and friends".

It is your parents house so l would respect their or in this case your father. If you want a pet then you need to consider getting your own house and responsabilities therein.
