My advice would be to sit it out until then, but make notes on positive changes you could make from your observations or think of things you believe would benefit the practice. Could the practice do with an open day or are there any nursing clinics you feel they are missing out on?

By pushing your ideas and initiative in an environment (review) that won't make others feel like you are taking over, you are demonstrating that you are capable and willing to help the practice develop and grow and are a keen member of the team. Also by the point you are ata review, they will know you enough to start to be happy to let you do more, and by taking on a task you a proving that you can do more.

Once you have done this you can start by offering to take charge of certain areas, ie pharmacy/insurances/work experiences/health and safety. This will give you a focus and an area that you can call your own!

Hope this helps!
