Finally managed to find one from our wholesaler NVS we got I believe it was gelostarch/gelofusion

I don't think any starches are available any longer. We still have geloplasma, but the last thing I heard was that all gelatine were going to be unavailable at some point as they are finding that they cause the same issue as starches (they just weren't being used so much previously so they didn't have the data to show there was an issue).

Does anyone have an update on this? Are starch-based colloids still unavailable / advised against? And if any are available how can I get my hands on some (need brand name!)?

I also believe there are problems getting gelofusine... please let me know if your supplier can get you some!
