I dont know how long cormorants live but he was an adult when I treated him. and he has a ring so we know it is the same bird.
Brian is a Mallard I saved a few years ago while Locuming In Derbyshire (Loubylou) will remember.. anyway I ended up bringing him back to Scotland to a sanctuary, where he now lives in an open topped pen(so is free to come and go as he pleases) with a Hareem of Ladies.

He was recused from a pond in Buxton, where the other older Males were trying to drown him, because there were very few females, and loads of males, so basically he was competition, the poor thing was al;most lifeless when plucked form the pond and had no feathers on his head from the constant duckings he had had from the other males.

I drove home with him( 5 1/2 hours in the car in a basket and he was so good, never got stressed at all. Now he is living the life of Riley

Re: Chucky Egg!

Cute little birdies!
