I'm in Edinburgh now, so the CAW courses are really quite handy now. I used to be based just outside of Aberdeen though, and I know there were quite a few BVNA meetings cancelled while I was still up there. I went to heaps of those as a student, and once I'm able to drive, I'll hopefully get myself along to some of their Falkirk meetings.

Where abouts in Scotland are you based? I know the BVNA offer good value CPD, but have had to cancel a few presentations due to lack of uptake which is a shame.

I should hopefully be booking on one of your day courses though. I've never tried webinars, but I certainly don't mind paying to go and listen to a speaker, in person, about something which interests me. Plus, I can go along with colleagues rather than sitting by myself in front of my computer.

I don't know about the other providers, but as for CAW, it's because demand for evening courses has shifted to free and sponsored webinars, or subscription based webinars. So we've run fewer evening courses this year than last year. Mainly we're responding to demand. No offense or discrimination intended against Scotland, I promise!
