oh if only

Yesterday I have to admit I did go into the dispensary and say out loud (to myself) 'Beam me up Scotty' - Had just had a long in depth conversation about not only how to use an environment spray but also why it tells you to use gloves when spraying an environment spray for fleas, and the conversation then went to what about the rest of my skin? what about my arms? Well you could wear a long sleeved shirt and just take it off when you have finished spraying I helpfully offered. To which she replied what about the skin on my face? ( I had several suggestions but I refrained from giving just in case) By which stage I was losing the will to live. I think it would have been quicker if I had walked round to her house armed with a spray and treated the house myself

Re: Unlikely things a vet would say...Mock the Week

(STAR TREK REFERENCE) - during lengthy charity clinic consult - "Computer, end holodeck program".

this was said by a vet I once worked with (not within earshot of the client I will hasten to add)

client was asking the vet about some aspect of their pets behaviour they were having problems with

after a really really long consult during which time he had achieved very little he came out of the consult room looking frustrated and said 'how the hell should I know why 'cats name' does 'x' I have 2 balls but neither of them are crystal, its a cat you arent supposed to understand them!' - and disappeared in the direction of the staff room.

still tickles me now when I think about it

Re: Unlikely things a vet would say...Mock the Week

Brilliant x
