Hiya,

I've recently been reading up on this as we've not long had our VMD inspection and there were a couple of bits and pieces we had left to tidy up. The first link below is for the VMD page about controlled drugs in veterinary medicine, and the second is to a PDF of an example layout for the CD register.

General pointers include making sure you have the broached date written on all multidose bottles, and I will try and work out a way to send you a copy of the notes I made from VMGN 3 (about prescribing and dispensing) which might save you some reading, and help you write an SOP for that.
