Aww even though it's kinda sad your story made me laugh! Haha yeah I'm always correcting/pointing out errors to my other half when he's driving, it drives him nuts! (excuse the pun!)

Yeah I think it's the emotional attatchment to my car which is the hardest. It was my first and it wasn't flashy but there was nothing wrong with it at all and I had no desire to replace.

About four years ago my then boyfriendhad borrowed my first car it was and old style renault clio- but i loved it!I was signed off and couldnt drive due to chemo and tiredness etc so thought it was better someone was driving it!I got a phone call one night - he was on his way to pick up his wee boy and he had went into the back of a vauxhall Zafira!A bloody people carrier - how do you not see that!Im still upset about it lol!Anyway it was beyond repair and had to be scrapped - i was gutted cos like your car it was an old one but it was great!Boyfriend is now my husband and im not gonna reveal how many cars he has written off but he still thinks he is the better driver!MEN.

Thanks guys. Yeah I'm better today, just ache. Insurance stuff is in full swing so just have to wait now.

I know how you feel, being in an RTA is horrible
