I had a clumping litter that didn't clump as well as I wanted, it clumped together but trying to scoop out and it would all break apart. I know Catsan is supposedly good but it costs a lot

Re: Clumping cat litter

I found Tescos clumping cat litter works well and really good value for money :-) I make sure I buy a few bags at a time as it must be popular as they run out in my local store quite often - its about £2.50 for 8 litres.

Re: Clumping cat litter

I've got oko plus too. The trick is not to scoop the clumps away too quickly, or they fall apart - gotta leave them a little while for all the clumps to solidify. This helped greatly to reduce my cat's tracking. I sewed a little "privacy curtain" on a length of twine and hung it in front of the cubby hole where her litter box is (under some worktops) and although it looks way better (hidden), it can be a little too hidden and I have to really try to remember to scoop!

Re: Clumping cat litter

I use Tigerino nuggies from zooplus, it's quite good and easy to scoop and smells nice, it's very fine though so can be messy on the floor when it tracks

Re: Clumping cat litter

I use master grey antibacterial from zooplus, I order 2x14kg bags and this lasts me 2-3months with 2cats and 3 litter trays. My dad uses it and last time i was over i was given a demonstration!

but i was actually impressed, poured a small amount of water on and withing 30 seconds it had clumped and set like concrete, just scoop it out, no falling apart no mess.

Re: Clumping cat litter

I use Oko Plus as well. My cat has the ModKat litter box, which has a roof top entry. So when she does finish her business, she comes out of the roof top and most of the litter is caught on the roof (due to gravity) before she jumps off. This reduces the tracking 98% of the time. I thoroughly recommend Oko Plus litter, clumps so well. Also, you don't have to change it so often :-)

Re: Clumping cat litter

I bought a small bag of the Oko plus stuff to see how it is. She makes a mess anyway, we have one of those little mat things at the front of her tray but it doesn't do much.

Re: Clumping cat litter

I use the cats best oko plus too. I like that its not heavy like the clay ones and doesn't have that horrible smell either. It's quite good if you are careful. My cat has precious paws and if I try and introduce a change of litter she misses the litter tray as she stands on the tray to goIt is very soft, hence why she likes it, and smells reasonable too, in addition it's dust free.

Re: Clumping cat litter

I use Oko Plus Cats Best http://www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/cats/cat_litter/cats_best/42875?gclid=CJu2sYWbw7cCFYjLtAodTlgAWA
