ok looking at the suggestions I could maybe look at a bum bag with pick and mix items (to a max number) to sort of customise for each person?

leave it with me - I am looking for the kenest prices to make this affordable to all without compromising quality

Superb idea. My pockets are always full with a variety of items. Finding something always means a little rummage before I get out what I was looking for! I think one with scissors,calculator,pens and pen torch would be a fab idea, everyone can then add their own personal essentials to theirs.

Pick pocket and all love it, we have to wear scrubs and the tops have a measly 1 pocket which allows everything to fall out of. so we just load our pouches up with what we want, I think I have everything under the sun in mine LOL

Are these the ones you are looking at? I have one and they are great (actually onto my second but the first lasted 4 years). I carry my radiation badge, two mosquito forceps, scissors, micropore tape, leukoplast tape, calculator, note pad, pens, torch, highlighter and permanent marker...I couldn't live without it! But am thinking of getting one made that will accommodate a mini iPad (makes showing vet students photos and notes easier) and to contain the array of syringes needed when inducing horses for anaesthesia.

If I can get them for you and forward them to you in bulk (though you may want to contact them direct and get a deal to distribute them in the UK) I can do that...

This sounds great!! I am always coming home with pockets full of stuff! Im a student and definatly enjoy having a little note pad and calculator close at hand during my studies. Otherwise I am searching high and low in the practice for soemthing to write on and a calculator. I definatly would be intrested!!

I wouldn't be without my pouch, I love it! They are hard to get hole of and not many types around so I reckon that this would be a great idea!

I would be! I love the look of the nurses pouches on e-bay but they only come from Auz so you end up spending almost as much on postage as you do on the bag. One that came ready stocked would be great

More of a trolley size as this thread grows... (hehehehe, mebbe even a 'sholley'!)....

seriously tho I think its a grand idea. My pockets were ALWAYS bulging but I was the nurse who could 'magic' anything out of the air whenever it was needed (including a stethoscope at the ready, my reading glasses for long sighted clients and on one occasion six kirby grips and a big 'lacky band...for a vet whose new hair do was being a right pain during an op).

Honestly...I need to downsize....

ok I am working on it - did a bit of looking around earlier and I saw something similar on ebay from Australia but all it has is a 'kangaroo pouch' with a pen and a pair of dressing scissors

Make that 4 pens, I loose at least that many a day. My pockets are always bulging so sounds like a good idea, would be a good line for the colleges too. I also have hand gel in my pockets, what about putting some useful facts together for the note book???. Good idea Sal

Enterprising! I think you need to add a little note pad as i alway have scraps of paper in my pocket!
